I really should have more than just a quick update, but I'm in the middle of editing... some of them are big editing fails too xD

But! I am making a lot of progress with Writer's Crit Workshop so at least I'm not having trouble with that. Now, if I can just figure out what to do with an old story I need to finish. Man, some of the earlier chapters suck, and I don't have the time or patience to go through it sentence by sentence, not for fan fiction D :

since I've posted my last journal so I wanted to do a quick update for the month. Been busy with life and other things. I'm still around, though, and I am still writing, mostly editing things, which takes me time.

That's beside the point. This is basically crunch time, the last month before this semester ends so I've been filling my days with homework while taking some breaks in between to keep my sanity. Lol, well, I shouldn't say sanity (I'd have to be sane in the first p...

This weekend and during the rest of my spring break I will be fixing and reposting a few things I had disable the links to. There will be a new story debuting as well.

Dunno, but I should have more free time to work on my writing now. Two of my classes won't require much reading or homework now. I’m over the horrid hump I’ve been climbing the past month and a half.

However, I plan to use this time to mainly work on getting my writing up and running again (something I have been doing, but it's been slow) so I'm still going to be on my IMs weekends only unless I have a reason to log on, like working on Vamped on contacting someo...

I have my first test for the semester tomorrow, and I have no idea how I'm going to do on it. I'm sure I'll pass it but don't know if I'll make it much beyond that. : /

There's just a lot of other things I need to study for and write as well that I haven't been putting as much time in studying for the test as I probably should have. I do need this class to graduate, though, so if I do terrible, I guess that means I'm going to have to work hard on the other two tests.There's ...

went okay, I guess.  To be honest, not much was said, but I did get some good information out of it so I guess I can't complain. I knew it would be hard for my class to critque a draft that rough, but at least there was some useful things that came out of it. I don't know... Ha, I guess I need to figure out what the hell I want to do with my thesis project.

Not sure if I'm going about it the right way, but I guess I'll find out.

Did you ever find yourself writing something only to go back and realize you forgot to put in marks where you wanted/needed/were supposed to edit? So you found that you've written basically the same thing twice, only you've edited too much of both parts to consider deleting one of them?

Well, good, because it's a pain in the ass. I don't even know.... my brain just hasn't been functioning properly for the past couple of months. Lol, well, ...

Why the hell do I feel as if I just ran a marathon from writing it? I hate having to send a draft that rough to be critiqued. How can anyone give good crit on something that's mostly exposition and lacks detail and dialogue? 

I have no idea tbh  -_-

Hopefully, there will be something in the five pieces of short storiesthat will be worth reading. I'm hoping that my workshop on Tuesday will inspire me or give me some indication on what I'm supposed...

I feel is the beginning of preparing myself for publishing. I will be submitting the first draft for my Thesis project. My classmates--cohorts--will be looking over this draft and discussing it this Tuesday.

I'm both excited and nervous. And, I'm not nervous because of the workshop; I'm looking forward to that tbh. I'm nervous because this really means I'll need to pull up my big-girl pants and get on with my life as a write : /
